Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Porsche 718 Cayman is available in five trims: Cayman, Cayman Style Edition, Cayman S, Cayman GTS 4.0, and Cayman GT4 RS. The base Cayman features 18-inch wheels with a two-tone finish, Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and a single central exhaust tailpipe. The Style Edition adds Ruby Star Neo paint, black or white stripes on the hood and sides, 20-inch 718 Spyder wheels in high-gloss black, and black "718" door logos. The S model incorporates 20-inch Carrera S wheels, larger front air intakes, and dual central exhaust tailpipes. The GTS 4.0 includes black accents on the front spoiler lip and air intake slats, a sport exhaust system with black twin tailpipes, tinted LED taillights, and 20-inch 718 Sport wheels in satin black. Engine (Power)
The base 718 Cayman employs a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine generating 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The Cayman S steps up to a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four producing 350 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. The GTS 4.0 transitions to a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine delivering 394 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. The GT4 RS maximizes performance with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six producing 493 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission comes standard on most trims, while a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission is optional except for the GT4 RS, where it comes standard.
Performance
The base 718 Cayman accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 171 mph. The Cayman S improves these figures to 4.2 seconds and 177 mph. The GTS 4.0 equipped with the Sport Chrono Package reaches 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and achieves 182 mph. The GT4 RS delivers the most impressive performance, sprinting to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and reaching 196 mph. The mid-engine layout and rear-wheel drive configuration provide exceptional balance and handling precision. Standard four-piston aluminum monobloc fixed brake calipers deliver strong stopping power, with the optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system offering enhanced performance.
Interior
Seating options progress from standard sports seats with two-way electric adjustment to Sport Seats Plus, 14-way power-adjustable seats, and full bucket seats with carbon fiber backing in the GT4 RS. An 8.0-inch touchscreen manages infotainment functions, including Apple CarPlay and Google Earth navigation. Storage capacity includes 5.3 cubic feet in the front trunk and 9.7 cubic feet in the rear compartment. The GTS 4.0 and GT4 RS include the Sport Chrono Package with a mode selector.
