Understanding the Trim Levels of the 2025 Porsche 911

911 Carrera

Kicking off the list is the 911 Carrera Coupe, the base trim of the Carrera model lineup. A 3.0-liter flat-6 engine with twin turbochargers generates up to 388 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, giving the vehicle enough power to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, or 3.7 seconds with Porsche’s available Sport Chrono Package.

The Carrera is available in hardtop and Cabriolet models, the latter of which features an open-air cabin and Porsche’s classic rear-axle steering.

911 Targa

Anyone looking for a little more power can opt for the 911 Targa, which adds 85 horsepower to the engine for a total of 473 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Rear-axle steering is optional on the Targa, but the vehicle features a PASM chassis with an electronically controlled damper system to increase stability and comfort when cornering.

911 Turbo

For maximum power, you’ll want to go with the 911 Turbo. Larger exhaust turbochargers and piezo injectors help to improve engine responsiveness and efficiency, giving the Turbo the power to generate up to 572 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, this incredible sports car features an 8-speed PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) that allows for fast gear changes and better traction.

The Turbo is available in both hardtop and Cabriolet models, both of which feature PTM all-wheel drive.

911 GT3

The GT3 features a 4.0-liter, 6-cylinder, high-revving, natural aspirating engine capable of generating up to 502 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. When utilizing the available 7-speed PDK transmission system, this engine allows for a 0 to 60 mph time of just 3.2 seconds. Aero bars have also been added to the GT3 base, which allow for increased downforce and reduced turbulence.

Available Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes give the GT3 a stellar braking system, while an aerodynamic design helps to improve airflow. Regardless of if you’re on the track or on the road, the GT3 is sure to give you a thrill.
